What is IB (International Baccalaureate)?

Diploma Programme (IBDP)

This programme holds minimum of two parts under IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) that is a core consisting of 4 components and a career oriented lesson plan. The curriculum designed for those who interested in catching career related education in the final two years of secondary education. As part of curriculum, all students must study minimum of two Diploma programme in CP.

Examination assessment in IB Schools

The IB Research Unit based of Cardiff, UK conducts the Examination for IB DP program. All over the world the exam will be conducted simultaneously in one or two cycles. In advance, the schools will assign their approval based on different subjects and usually the exams go by May or November months. The assessment is completely based on the students learning, interpretation and understanding of topic.

The final grade is not going to be the score card of complete program, but it’s a combination of student’s performance and project work of two years DP program. The assessment is carried out in two ways as Formative method (comprises Internal assessments and teacher assessments) and summative method (external examination scores)
